Coaching Since: ??? Know as One-T, Mat's passion for bowling and his desire to give back to the youth program that helped shape his own bowling journey inspired him to become a coach. Since joining the coaching staff in 2021, he has been dedicated to helping young bowlers develop their skills, confidence, and love for the sport. What Brian enjoys most about coaching is seeing the results of hard work over time. Whether it's reaching a new personal best, achieving a long-term goal, or striving for the next challenge, he loves watching bowlers grow both on and off the lanes. Brian is a USBC Level 1, Bronze, and Silver Certified Coach and works extensively with youth bowlers through weekly group lessons, monthly Buffaloe Lanes Jr. Gold Team outings, and the team's annual trip to the USBC Junior Gold Championships. As an accomplished competitive bowler, Brian regularly competes in leagues and tournaments across the country. He was a member of the championship team at the 2021 USBC Open Championships Team Event and has captured numerous tournament titles throughout the East Coast. He has also rolled more than 50 perfect 300 games and multiple 800 series during his bowling career. When he's not coaching or competing, Brian enjoys hiking and exploring the mountains with his girlfriend, playing disc golf, and cheering on the Carolina Hurricanes.
